Our journey has been anything but ordinary.
Logan Weisz
Growing up my grandfather was always taking photos and videos with his camera for me and my siblings. I wanted to follow in his foot steps and see why he did it. I got my first camera in high school and immediately fell in love with photography. My friends and I would go out skating and I would try photographing everything I could. I’ve always dreamed of having one of my skating photos on the front of Thrasher magazine (sorry but that still hasn't happened...maybe someday!). For now, I have enjoyed my journey doing portrait photography and getting to know amazing people, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Maddy weisz
I was gifted my first camera in high school (2018), a Canon Rebel T5 (funny how Logan had the same first camera). I quickly was drawn to portrait photography and capturing people’s personality by creating visual art. Growing up, my sister was a model for magazines like Pottery Barn and was even on the Downy laundry detergent bottle for a few years and I got to witness some pretty talented photographers. After I got my camera, she modeled for me and I got to practice lots of portrait photography. That’s how it all started! I’ve learned so much and keep learning more about this passion every single day. My favorite part about this dream job is being able to help beautiful people feel the best and truest version of themselves in front of the camera, it truly feeds my soul!
where our stories intertwine
We both attended the same high school in California and somehow never crossed paths up until the last month of senior year. It all started when Maddy's sister introduced us and after that, we learned about our shared passion for photography. We spent late nights in Davis, CA taking pictures of Maddy's sister and learning everything we could from each other. Maddy was able to share her insight on portrait photography while Logan was able to share his expertise on street photography. We learned so much from each other and learned a ton about each other during that time....leading us to fall in love and BOOM the dream team was formed! Our love story began with our first date trip to Point Reyes Beach, where we woke up at the crack of dawn to watch the sunrise and take photos together (see pictures below!).
