Jaclyn & Tom

Hello everyone! Maddy and Logan here. We wanted to gush about our couples photography session with Jaclyn and Tom. We shot at Mayberry park here in Reno, NV located next to the Truckee River. This location offered some great landscape variety between the river, the grassy areas, tall trees and flowers.

We have known Jaclyn and Tom for over a year now, and they are just the sweetest couple ever! They compliment each other so well and you could tell during the shoot that they definitely bring out the goofy side in one another…it made for some great genuine photos during the session! When we were getting some photos of them laying down next to each other, Tom discovered a pretty unpleasant smell nearby that we found out was dog poop….the two of them burst out laughing and BAM just like that we got the perfect shot:

We found a nice area with tall yellow flowers and we figured it would be the perfect opportunity to get some close up shots of the two of them using the flowers as foreground. Here is how it turned out!

Towards the end of the shoot, we wanted to get some shots of them having some fun in the water. They rolled up their jeans and got right in! This was one of our favorite parts of the session since they were able to get some movements shots in the water as well as some close up shots. The close up shots were more spontaneous as we found a tall grassy bush that we had them stand between to help frame the two of them. Here is one of our favorites from the river spot:

This was a very fun couples session that produced some soft and dreamy photos of Jaclyn and Tom, ones that we hope they love and hold onto for years to come. We had so much fun with these two and are grateful to have captured their unique love!
