Lexi & Nicko

Hey there, Maddy & Logan here! We wanted to tell you all about a recent photoshoot we had at Wilbur D. May Arboretum in Reno, Nevada. The entire shoot was a dream from start to finish, laughs the entire time, and an unexpected surprise that left us teary-eyed.

When we began the shoot, the first thing we noticed was the wide variety of greenery and how the light filtered through the trees. This gave the photos a warm and dreamy look. We felt that this was the perfect location to showcase Lexi & Nicko as a couple. This photo was taken during the beginning of our shoot and we absolutely love the way it shows the genuine connection these two have.

Lexi & Nicko were down for whatever crazy ideas we had and brought laughs and smiles the entire time! We saw waterfalls and even came up with a new method of posing for movement shots (doing the YMCA…yes, it works). One of the most memorable parts of this shoot was witnessing an engagement in the rose garden of the arboretum. We were just past the garden when Lexi told us that there might be a proposal happening right next to us. We couldn’t help but congratulate the newly engaged couple, and even got to get a few photos for them to commemorate their special moment!

Towards the end of the session, we wanted to showcase their loving energy through the photos so we got them to rock back and forth in each others arms and got this beautiful image:

Overall, this shoot gave us memories to hold onto and reminded us what taking photos is all about- the adventure. We have so much love for our new friends, Lexi & Nicko, and can’t wait for the next adventure to come!
