Shea & Sean
Hey there! It’s Maddy & Logan. We wanted to share how our latest couples portrait session went- it was one for the books!
Shea and Sean wanted more of a western look so we opted for a location that delivered what they were looking for. We discovered Bartley Ranch Regional park a few years ago when taking portraits for a friend and we immediately knew this was the location for clients who have a western style. Before we talk about how amazing the shoot went, here’s a few fun facts about our dear friends Shea & Sean:
Shea and Sean are close friends of ours that we have known since we have been together ourselves. We’ve watched each grow and blossom both individually and in our relationships. Shea is the sweetest girl you will ever meet and someone you can always count on! Sean is the best adventure buddy and has the best sense of humor. They compliment each other perfectly, and we are so grateful to be able to know them!
As for the shoot, we started off at the wooden fences towards the front of the park that was surrounded by nice greenery to help frame some shots. We decided to walk a little further down the path and came across tress that were perfect for some movement pictures. Along our walk, I found a white flower that we thought would be perfect for some close up and detail shots like this one!
After this location, we found a large field with some trees that we thought would be perfect for more ethereal-looking movement pictures. We wanted to go for a vintage look and lowering our shutter speed to get a blurry effect while they ran through the field gave us just that. This was the result!
We ended the shoot at our last location, another wooden fence post on the side of the walkway. We had already gotten some of Shea sitting on the fence so we thought we would switch it up for these ones. This is one of the pictures we captured, and definitely one of our favorites from the shoot!
This session was full of love and laughter, and overall just a good time with some great friends! We are anxiously awaiting the next photoshoot with Shea and Sean!
